This is a full-time position based at a prestigious private school in Sydney's eastern suburbs. As a Horticultural Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining the school's open spaces and gardens, exceeding expectations through your expertise and dedication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of horticultural maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Perform regular horticultural maintenance, including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, mulching, and fertilising.
  • Maintain ornamental gardens, hedges, lawns, and feature planting areas to premium presentation standards.
  • Operate and maintain horticultural tools, machinery, and irrigation systems safely and effectively.
  • Assist in seasonal planting, turf renovation, and landscape improvement projects.
  • Identify and treat plant pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.
  • Collaborate with grounds and facilities staff to support school events and operational needs.

About You:
