Greenkeeper Apprentice
">The Port Stephens Council is seeking a Certificate III in Turf Management apprentice to join its team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in grounds maintenance, landscaping, and horticulture while working with a experienced team of professionals.
">As a Greenkeeper Apprentice, you will be responsible for undertaking general maintenance duties, including vegetation management, turf/garden maintenance, and renovations. You will also operate horticulture equipment such as ride-on mowers, brush-cutters, and edgers.
">This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about working outdoors and has a passion for horticulture. The successful candidate will be provided with financial support, time to attend formal training, and opportunities to develop professional and social networks across the council.
">To be eligible for this role, you must have access to reliable transport for attendance at work and training. You should also have demonstrated commitment to completing a Certificate III in Turf Management, understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) principles, and ability to work in a team environment.

**Remuneration:**
Base Hourly Range: $24.59 - $31.47 + 12% superannuation
**Locations:**
Nelson Bay, Medowie, and Mallabula Depot
