Broadmeadow is a longwall underground coal operation located in Queensland's Bowen Basin. We are seeking highly skilled, safety-focused individuals to join our team as Explosion Risk Zone Controllers.

  • Responsibilities include supervising coal mine workers and taking control of activities in an Explosion Risk Zone within the mine.">
  • Performing inspections of the Explosion Risk Zone, assessing its safety for operations, and ensuring compliance with Coal Mining Health and Safety legislation.">
  • Directing and overseeing all personnel, systems, and equipment within the mining zone and outbye areas.">

We require applicants to hold a current Deputy's Certificate of Competency in Queensland and possess proven leadership experience in supervising underground coal mining teams.
