Field Service Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Supervisor to join our team at Cummins Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of field technicians in the diagnosis and repair of complex engine products at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain productive customer relationships to ensure prompt and efficient attention to customer needs.
  • Apply specialized tools and follow documented procedures to diagnose and complete complex repairs at customer sites.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities on engines and related components in the field.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to product specialists or supervisor.
  • Coach and develop technicians and/or apprentices, and transfer knowledge and experience to others.
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims.
  • Identify additional sales and service opportunities with customers.
  • Maintain service vehicles and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice-trained engine technician or equivalent experience.
  • Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
  • Locally valid driving permit.
  • Expert-level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience providing technical advice and coaching to junior technicians.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a motivated team leader with the ability to bring out the best in a team. The successful candidate will be the main contact for customers, deliver results for the business aligned with KPIs, and give direction to a motivated team of field technicians.
