Nestled in Brisbane's heart, our hotel boasts spacious rooms, all-day dining, and an outdoor pool. With over 1800 square meters of meeting spaces, we cater to business and leisure events alike, offering versatile function rooms and a Grand Ballroom for up to 1000 guests.



We seek a Reservations Agent to join our team. A typical day involves:

  • Assisting in the efficient operation of the reservations department to optimize occupancy and average rate.
  • Handling guest complaints in a timely manner, ensuring resolution to their satisfaction.
  • Maintaining professional communication with department and hotel team members to foster good rapport and effective two-way communication.
  • Working effectively with customers from diverse viewpoints, cultures, and countries.
  • Attending briefings, meetings, and training sessions as scheduled.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in a reservations role, preferably in the hotel industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-focused attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Literacy and technical savviness, with a good grasp of basic maths and computer skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to take on various tasks.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
