About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Technician to join our team at Precruitment. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Assist clients with software installation, updates, and usage
  • Support online and on-prem servers, desktops, and applications
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware components
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on computer systems
  • Inventory management of hardware assets
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems
  • Ensure software updates, patches, and security protocols are up to date
  • Assist with software license management
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining local area networks
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
  • Collaborate with network administrators to ensure network stability and security
  • Provide training to clients on software applications and basic IT procedures
  • Create and maintain user guides and documentation
  • Implement security best practices to protect client data and IT infrastructure
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents or breaches
  • Remote monitoring of PCs, servers, routers, and switches
  • Assist remote users with IT issues and troubleshoot connectivity problems
  • Support remote work environments and ensure secure access
  • Assist in the selection and procurement of IT equipment and software
  • Work with vendors to acquire necessary hardware and software licenses
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware and software configurations
  • Document support and resolutions for future reference
Requirements
  • Certifications and experience with Microsoft 365 cloud technologies, including Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint/OneDrive, Intune, and mobile device management
  • Experience in Veeam software and Watchguard would be an advantage
  • A valid Australian driver's license and a reliable car
  • The ability to undergo a police check
  • The willingness to secure a Positive Notice Working with Children Blue Card
