About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supervisor to join our team in Cairns. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site WHS inspections and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.
  • Develop and implement safe work method statements and risk assessment documents.
  • Monitor and review mechanical and electrical safety incidents and breaches.
  • Provide technical support and supervision for small air-conditioning and refrigeration system installations.
  • Conduct WHS, mechanical, and electrical safety audits and reviews.

Requirements:

  • Previous senior construction industry-related trade qualification (highly desirable).
  • Current Workplace Health & Safety General Safety Induction Card.
  • Must be a local resident in the Cairns area or a reasonable commuting distance.
