Job Title: Data Coordinator

About the Role:

The Project Data Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the success of our projects, working closely with the Project Information Manager to ensure seamless execution.

This dynamic position requires an individual who can effectively develop and implement data management plans, collaborate with engineering disciplines, and facilitate data deliverables to various stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Data Management: Develop project automation plans, information management plans, and related documentation with the project information manager.
  • Technical Expertise: Collaborate with engineering disciplines to provide technical expertise on design applications, their implementation, customization, and integration with other functional applications.
  • Data Deliverables: Facilitate engineering data deliverables to procurement, startup, and construction, promoting compliance with relevant standards.
  • Design Applications: Document and implement required engineering design and analysis applications and data exchanges with Bechtel I&D automation.
  • Federated Models: Create federated 3D models based on specific requirements from each group and enhance these models by combining them with data from other systems with the project design team.
  • Class Library: Help develop the class library, master tag register, and tags to document relationships.
  • PowerBI Reporting: Implement PowerBI reporting on data completeness and quality (e.g., missing, incomplete, or inconsistent data) and work with procurement, construction, and start-up functions to support Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) on the project.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training in data management tools and the use of PowerBI reports to correct data quality and completeness issues.
  • Engineering Quantity Tracking: Facilitate engineering quantity tracking work process and QTT database and reporting tool.
  • Data Handover: Understand client data handover concepts and help produce data handover documentation.
  • Performance Reporting: Report to the Project Information Manager on information systems performance, data exchange status, and issues resolution.
  • Documentation: Produce job notes, instructions, training material, and other documentation as necessary.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve complex problems using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Innovative Culture: Support the development of an innovative culture on the project.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require strong data management skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

You should have experience working with data management tools, including PowerBI, and be able to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
