About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of projects, from capital works to minor projects, and provide project management services to the organisation. As a Projects Manager, you will be responsible for managing civil and building contracts, leading internal groups and expert consultants, and coordinating the design process.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and budget-sensitive completion.
- Lead and manage internal teams and external consultants to achieve project objectives.
- Develop and implement project management plans, including risk management and quality control.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and City of Mandurah policies.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as Engineering, Construction, or Building.
- Minimum of five years' experience in project management, preferably in a local government or infrastructure development context.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
