Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team at the City of Mandurah. As a Project Manager - Capital Works, you will be responsible for managing civil and building contracts and projects, including leading internal groups and expert consultants, coordinating the design process, and facilitating the procurement and contract awarding process.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage civil and building contracts and projects, including leading internal groups and expert consultants.
- Coordinate the design process, from concept to construction contract documentation.
- Facilitate the procurement and contract awarding process, ensuring programmed targets and budgets are met.
- Provide quality infrastructure project management services, including timely and budget-sensitive delivery of key capital works projects.
- Effectively manage major capital investment works projects and minor capital works projects, facilitating multi-disciplinary teams and providing advice on strategic commercial and project issues.
- Degree qualification in a relevant discipline, e.g. Engineering, Construction, or Building.
- Minimum of five years relevant experience.
- Recognition by the relevant governing body as a registered professional, e.g. Engineers Australia as a Professional Engineer.
- Project Management skills and experience.
- Procurement and contract management skills.
- Sound knowledge of the statutory approval process relevant to construction, regulatory authorities, procedures, codes, and regulations.
