About the Role:

The Skycity Entertainment Group is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of General Manager People & Culture. This role plays a pivotal part in driving people initiatives that enhance employee engagement, talent development, compliance, and overall organisational performance in line with the SkyCity business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and implementation of organisational culture programs that foster a dynamic, inclusive workplace.
  • Lead a diverse team across Talent Acquisition and Recruitment, Human Resources, and People Operations.
  • Contribute to business planning and decision making, ensuring all P&C programs delivered are fit for purpose, customer orientated, and meet Senior Leadership Team expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Group P&C Leadership team to ensure local priorities are aligned with Group objectives.

About You:

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in a Senior P&C Leadership role within a large and complex organisation, backed by tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Law, Commerce, or a related field.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record in implementing change initiatives that foster organisational growth and enhance workplace culture.
  • Experience in employment relations within a unionised environment, including collective bargaining and navigating dynamic employment relations landscapes.
  • Expertise in working in a diverse, multicultural environment, applying a DE&I lens to organisational initiatives.
