The organisation's primary purpose is to enable individuals with disabilities and their families to participate in the community to their full potential.


This role reports to the Chief People Officer and is responsible for leading and managing the Human Resources and Payroll teams.


The Human Resources Manager will provide operational leadership and serve as a HR Advisor to Novita's Senior Managers, supporting their strategic objectives.


The role involves overseeing the planning, organisation, execution, and monitoring of contemporary HR practices, ensuring effective team outcomes and alignment with organisational goals.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Contributing to the identification and development of organisational changes, policies, and programs
  • Developing and maintaining a service culture that adds value to employees' and managers' experiences
  • Contributing to the development of contemporary workforce initiatives throughout the employee life cycle
  • Creating a positive and collaborative team environment with clear shared goals
  • Ensuring the effective implementation of procedures, work instructions, and continuous improvement
