Tunnelling Expertise
Abergeldie has a strong reputation for delivering tunneling and shafts projects, leveraging our expertise in trenchless technology and blind boring capabilities. Our fleet of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) caters to various ground conditions, and we have a proven track record of delivering multiple shaft construction, service tunnels, pedestrian tunnels, and tunnel remediation projects.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Underground / Tunnelling Project Manager to join our team. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne, with travel to sites as required. As a key member of our project team, you will work collaboratively with clients and project/joint venture teams, providing technical expertise and managing project and team performance to ensure high-quality outcomes for our clients and safe, on-time, and on-budget project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee various works, including pipe jacked micro tunnelling, TBM's, shaft, and deep excavation works.
- Support tender processes and transition into project delivery once projects are secured.
- Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ensure comprehensive understanding of tunnelling safety standards and best practices.
- Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
