Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Project Coordinator to manage the delivery of large-scale research projects in Indigenous Studies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project coordination by managing multiple large-scale research projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion of milestones.
  • Foster collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations and international collaborators.
  • Manage project finances and contribute to the development of reports and presentations for various audiences.
  • Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain comprehensive project tracking registers.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree with relevant experience in project management, particularly in the higher education research sector.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of research infrastructure development and operation.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Showcase strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrate experience in community engagement and an understanding of qualitative research methodologies.
