We are seeking an accomplished Personal Injury Paralegal/Legal Assistant/Secretary to join our team at AFL Recruitment.

About the Role

This is a stimulating and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on plaintiff clients who have suffered injuries relating mainly to TPD (total permanent disablement) and public liability claims.

As the right-hand person to the Team Leader Solicitor, you will be mentored and relish the challenge of obtaining justice. Your duties will include engaging with clients, preparing correspondence and forms, liaising with solicitors, insurers, and doctors, arranging medical appointments, diary management, preparing briefs to counsel, file management, and general administration tasks.

You will work intimately involved in client cases, enjoying ongoing learning and development opportunities in a down-to-earth, supportive, and close-knit team environment. About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • a minimum of 2-20+ years' personal injury law experience in public liability (essential) and TPD/superannuation (preferable but not essential);
  • solid knowledge and practical experience in the 'life-cycle' of a public liability claim from start to finish;
  • strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook; and
  • a proactive, deadline-driven attitude with a positive 'can-do' approach.
