Culinary Director

As a key leader in our culinary team, you will shape unforgettable dining moments with your creativity, precision, and flair for execution.
The successful candidate will take the reins of our banqueting kitchen and lead a passionate team of culinary professionals to deliver high-impact experiences across weddings, galas, conferences, and bespoke events.
You will be instrumental in upholding and evolving the culinary reputation of one of Melbourne's most stylish luxury hotels, working across exciting locations in hospitality.
Responsibilities include leading daily kitchen operations, collaborating with the Executive Chef to design standout menus, mentoring a high-performing team of chefs, and working closely with Events, F&B, and Sales teams to deliver seamless and memorable events.
Key qualifications include proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Senior Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or high-end catering environment, strong leadership skills, creative flair, excellent attention to detail, and highly organized nature.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design innovative and engaging menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of chefs to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless and memorable events that exceed client expectations.
