**Job Role:**

We're looking for an experienced Operations Team Supervisor who can lead a production team, focusing on safety, driving team performance and delivering productivity targets.

The successful candidate will be part of the Supply Chain team, leading the production team at one of our sites in Dandenong South. This role requires direction and support to the team, ensuring productivity targets are met, and leading safety, innovation and change across the shift.

This role will involve working on a rotating shift basis across day, afternoon and night shifts. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated supervisory experience in automated and fast-paced industrial production or operations environments.

The key responsibilities include:

- Creating a positive, productive and safe working environment
- Ensuring continuous improvement in safety and quality
- Providing leadership, direction, coaching and support to the team
- Driving team performance, providing recognition or creating improvement plans as required
- Ensuring productivity targets are met via appropriate resourcing and planning
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in automated and fast-paced industrial production or operations environments
- A commitment to safety, continuous improvement, innovation and change
- Leadership capability to drive and motivate a diverse multi-cultural workforce
- Solid experience in performance management and conflict resolution
- Some exposure to production and maintenance planning, embracing the use of technology
- Strong communication and team building skills
- Experience in a unionized environment preferred

Requirements:

A Certificate in Industrial Management would be advantageous, while relevant work experience is expected to be around 3-5 years.
