Job Description

Cultural practice leads play a vital role in shaping the experiences of First Nations children and young people accessing our services. They are responsible for driving best practices in culturally responsive services, supporting the transfer of First Nations children and young people to suitable care arrangements, and contributing to strategic planning that prioritizes cultural responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving best practices in culturally responsive services
  • Sustaining culturally safe and responsive practices within our organization
  • Supporting the transfer of First Nations children and young people to suitable care arrangements
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills and qualifications including:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Strong understanding of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
