This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join 9885 SMC Australia as a Field Service Supervisor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of personnel and driving the growth and financial success of our Field Service business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and direction to team members.
  • Undertake all planning requirements to ensure effective utilisation of labour and resources.
  • Coordinate field service technicians on a day-to-day basis to meet customer and business needs.
  • Process and respond to warranty claims in accordance with company processes.
  • Develop and train field service personnel.
  • Communicate clearly and work with all business lines to provide a consistent service and support to customers.
  • Customer liaison and site visits as required.
  • Meet KPIs and prepare weekly and monthly reporting.

Requirements

This role requires previous supervisory experience in a mechanical workshop environment, coupled with trade qualifications in a mechanical discipline (minimum of 5 years post-trade experience). A Certificate IV or Diploma in Business (Front Line Management) would be advantageous.

You will have a strong EHS management culture, a drive and determination to achieve company targets and goals, and excellent communication skills to ensure customer expectations are met.
