The Princess Alexandra Hospital is seeking an organized and reliable professional to join our 24/7 Emergency Department team as a vital administrative support specialist.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide responsive administrative support to patients, families, and emergency staff, ensuring smooth patient flow and departmental efficiency.
- Manage patient admissions, financial details, and hospital information systems accurately, making sure all data is up-to-date and secure.
- Assist nursing and medical teams with coordination of patient transfers, discharges, and paperwork, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Respond promptly to enquiries from patients, police, ambulance, and the general public, demonstrating empathy and strong communication skills.
- A customer-focused professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
- Ability to work varied shifts across 24/7 operations and commit to continuous learning and development.
