Job SummaryA key aspect of this role is to ensure the optimal performance of our generation fleet. To achieve this, you will be responsible for driving efficiencies and delivering a better user experience.
This position involves providing engineering expertise to manage asset lifecycles, overseeing mechanical works and leading continuous improvements for Hydro Tasmania's asset performance.
Main Responsibilities- Drive business process improvement and enhance user experience by identifying areas of inefficiency and implementing cost-effective solutions.
- Utilize engineering expertise to manage asset lifecycles, ensuring optimal performance and extending the lifespan of assets.
- Oversee mechanical works and play a pivotal role in refurbishing hydro power stations to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively.
- Lead reliability outcomes and continuous improvements for asset performance through data-driven decision making and proactive problem solving.
- Experience in electrical engineering with a focus on efficiency improvement and asset lifecycle management.
- Strong technical skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and project management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
