District Mental Health Lead

This position provides district-wide leadership for the integration of aftercare services in a local health district. The successful candidate will work closely with hospital and community mental health teams to ensure access to aftercare support is available for all individuals who need it.
The successful applicant will lead the coordination of aftercare services, ensuring that stakeholders are engaged and service integration is effective. This includes coordinating stakeholder engagement, supporting referral pathways, contributing to data reporting, evaluation, and quality initiatives, and promoting awareness and understanding of aftercare services across the district.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience relevant to mental health and suicide prevention. You will also need to demonstrate experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, health networks, and community service providers to implement or enhance mental health services.
You will contribute to service design and implementation, as well as data reporting and evaluation in a mental health context. A valid Australian C-Class driver's license is required for this position, as regular travel may be involved.
