Head Baker and Pastry Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Baker to lead our Cake and Bread production teams, ensuring exceptional product quality, consistency, and efficiency in our central baking facility.

The ideal candidate will have trade-qualified baking experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop a high-performing team. They will be responsible for daily operations, production planning, quality control, labor and waste management, and driving efficiency.

As a key leader in our organization, you will oversee everything from shift coordination to training and development, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will also contribute to product development and innovation, working closely with our team to create award-winning baked goods.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of bakers and pastry cooks to achieve production targets while maintaining quality
  • Developing and implementing effective production plans to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Monitoring and controlling labor and waste costs to ensure profitability
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
