Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our dynamic Banking & Finance team in Adelaide. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with our experienced partners and lawyers to deliver high-quality advice to clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking and finance law, with experience in documenting lending transactions and advising on the Personal Property Securities Act (PPSA). They will also be well-versed in using technology platforms such as PEXA to settle transactions.

  • Supporting the Banking and Finance partner across matters;
  • Mentoring junior solicitors and paralegals;
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key clients; and
  • Providing advice to clients and internal teams.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • 3 to 6+ years post-admission experience in banking and finance;
  • Strong experience in documenting lending transactions and advising on the PPSA;
  • Experience with settling transactions using PEXA;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Strong drafting skills;
  • Commercial acumen and critical thinking capabilities; and
  • Leadership skills for more senior candidates.
