Key Position: Lead Educator/Room Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Educator to join our Centre across the ACT region.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, including being approachable, having a positive attitude, and being flexible. This role is suitable for applicants who hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and have previous leadership experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe workplace, implementing theory-driven practice with a focus on teaching and learning, developing and implementing programs and plans for children's education, and working collaboratively as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children and staff
  • Implement best-practice educational programs and activities
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to achieve high-quality outcomes
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and regulations

About this Role:

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced educator to take on a key leadership role within our Centre.

As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to your team members to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and education to children.

You will also be responsible for developing and implementing programs and plans that meet the needs of children and families, and for ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
