Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily transport operations.

This is a critical role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has exceptional planning skills, and enjoys working closely with drivers to ensure efficient and compliant delivery schedules.

  • Plan and allocate loads to drivers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage daily transport schedules and adapt to changes as required.
  • Communicate clearly with drivers to ensure clarity of runs, safety requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Evaluate and improve driver performance and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on transportation activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a transport operations or scheduling environment, strong load planning and driver allocation capabilities, working knowledge of compliance requirements including fatigue and chain of responsibility (CoR), excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Excel and Outlook.

This is a permanent day shift based in Regency Park. Key areas include cost control, site safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
