About the Role:


Austin Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Haematologist to join its team. As a key member of the Clinical Haematology department, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with haematological disorders.


The successful candidate will have a strong background in haematology, with a focus on malignant and benign conditions. You will be expected to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, as well as participate in research and educational activities.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans
  • Participate in research and educational activities, including clinical trials and workshops
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:



  • FRACP or equivalent fellowship
  • Registered medical practitioner with AHPRA
  • Appropriate training and experience in haematology
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and teamwork
  • Enrolled or intending to enroll in a research higher degree affiliated with Austin Health
