About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Inclusion and Belonging Team. As the Director, Inclusion and Belonging Lead, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management to the team, ensuring the effective delivery of workforce programs and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the Inclusion and Belonging Team, supervising and coaching staff to achieve outcomes.
  • Workforce Development: Design, plan, implement, and evaluate workforce programs and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Business Partnerships: Build and maintain effective business partnerships across the ACT Government, through collaboration, engagement, responsiveness, and influence to support the strategic objectives of the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate.
  • Cultural Transformation: Identify and develop opportunities for system-wide cultural transformation through the effective delivery of contemporary, evidence-based strategies, programs, products, and partnerships.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in designing and delivering organisational development programs and/or building workforce diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to partner with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to navigate through challenges and competing priorities.
