Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Telecommunications Manager to oversee construction activities and lead a team of experts in delivering a significant ETCS L2 project.

  • Manage and execute the deployment of telecommunications systems in accordance with documentation and functional requirements.
  • Lead a team of specialists, including subcontractors, to achieve project milestones and objectives.
  • Cultivate and optimize project resources, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Perform technical installations as required and collaborate with safety experts to establish site-specific safety protocols.

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum qualification of Certificate IV or Diploma in Telecommunications.
  • Prior experience in the railway industry is mandatory.
  • Current Open Cabler Registration (ACMA) with endorsements for fibre, structured cabling, and coaxial cable installation.
  • Previous experience in the installation and testing of telecommunications equipment.
  • A valid Restricted Electrical license (desired).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in implementing Health & Safety initiatives.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience working within a brownfield railway environment.
  • Knowledge of software tools and technical systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
