Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of civil designers in providing expert advice on traffic, transport, and road safety issues. As a Senior Civil Design Lead, you will be responsible for developing written reports and grant submissions, as well as representing the council to developers, consultants, and other government agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance on civil design projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs, on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including developers, consultants, and community groups.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia.
  • Proven track record of project management and civil design experience, preferably in local government.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret software outcomes.
