Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering safe and researched-based standards of nursing care.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver complex and multi-disciplinary care to patients
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for Safe Practice
  • Provide education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery
Requirements
  • Authority to Work in Australia
  • Minimum 2+ years working in Emergency care
  • Working with Children check (if relevant)
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
  • Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated experience in emergency or critical care nursing
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
  • Flexibility to work a roster of Morning and Afternoon shifts as well as Saturdays when required.
