About Environmental Excellence

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced environmental specialist to join our team. As an environmental specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with environmental monitoring programs and data review.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the development and implementation of environmental management plans
  2. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
  3. Maintain accurate records of environmental monitoring data and reporting
  4. Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication of environmental information

You will work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team to achieve strong environmental outcomes across our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in Ecology/Environmental Science/Land Management or related disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in building collaborative relationships and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with water, air, and noise monitoring and management principles

About This Role

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week on a 9-day fortnight or Monday-Thursday schedule. You'll work at our Boddington Bauxite Mine under the supervision of the Environmental Supervisor. Please note that accommodation is not provided on-site; you'll need to drive to and from site daily.
