Job Summary
- We seek an experienced Environmental and Sustainability Manager to lead our environmental and sustainability functions on the Stephenson Avenue Project.
Key Responsibilities
This role will champion best practice environmental and sustainability outcomes across the project. You will be responsible for ensuring timely identification and compliance with all environmental legislation, approvals, and client specifications. You will also promote our organization's values and support client sustainability targets.
You will ensure project staff understand and implement all system and Environmental Management Plan requirements. This includes identifying and securing necessary resources to meet environmental, heritage, and sustainability needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We require candidates with tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of 7 years' experience in environmental and sustainability roles within infrastructure or construction projects is essential. Proven experience as a Senior Advisor is required.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of WA environmental legislation and sustainability frameworks. Experience with Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) ratings and/or sustainability reporting is highly valued.
Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this role. You must be able to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver complex environmental programs.
