  • The program is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led workforce initiative dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in the region.
Job Description:

As a remote Audiologist, you will provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in short-term placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks. You will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

  • Key responsibilities include providing Audiology services, participating in health education programs, and contributing to the development of healthcare initiatives in the community.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years full-time postgraduate clinical experience in a relevant clinical setting.
  • A minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as an Audiologist within the past 12 months.
  • Evidence of current Audiology Australia Accredited Audiologist Certificate.
  • Current membership with Audiology Australia.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
