Job Title: Application Support Specialist

">Job Description:

The successful candidate will provide maintenance and support services for business systems, ensuring seamless operations and adhering to established procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to technical inquiries in a timely manner, adhering to service level agreements.
  • Provide expert guidance on the use of business systems to clients and team members.
  • Evaluate and implement disaster recovery procedures, documenting outcomes for future reference.
  • Analyze and resolve complex issues, escalating as needed to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Configure software products, testing various platform-specific versions across different environments.
  • Coordinate release management activities, including builds, testing, and deployment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex IT systems.
  • Strong expertise in front and back-office transaction processing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with vendors for system support and development.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (desired).
  • ITIL Foundation certification (desired).
