Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of our major bulk earthworks projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful delivery within scope, cost, and timeline constraints.

About the Role
  • The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, including asset deployment, resource allocation, and workforce planning, with a focus on optimising efficiency and productivity.
  • This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and senior management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules to deliver projects within scope, cost, and timeline expectations.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of various teams, including Operations, Commercial, and HSET, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and implement strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage contracts, progress claims, variations, and invoicing, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering or Project Management, or extensive experience managing mining and civil earthworks projects.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful delivery within scope, cost, and timeline constraints.
  • Strong experience in asset deployment, resource allocation, and workforce planning, with a focus on optimising efficiency and productivity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and senior management.
