Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide support to individuals who have experienced sexual assault and their supporting family members and friends.

The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking psychosocial assessments, providing brief intervention counselling and advocacy, and crisis intervention. They will also participate in community education and groupwork activities.

Key qualifications include sound knowledge of undertaking psychosocial and risk assessments with a trauma focus, well-developed communication and information technology skills, and experience working collaboratively within a team and broader service system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake intake, referral and psychosocial assessment
  • Provide brief intervention counselling and advocacy
  • Participate in crisis intervention and after hours roster
  • Contribute to community education and groupwork
