We provide observations, forecasts, warnings, analysis and advice that cover Australia's atmosphere, water and space environments.
This role is part of our Decision Support Services Program, which supports decision making in the Emergency Management sector and the Australian community.
The Manager Hazard Preparedness and Response is responsible for leading engagement with the Emergency Management sector and understanding their needs to inform product and service design.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead cross-team activities and manage external committees.
- Provide operational decision support and services to the National Emergency Management Agency.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Emergency Management sector and its needs, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
