About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Technology Platform to lead our cloud and modern workplace platforms. As a key member of our Technology Leadership team, you will drive innovation across AWS, network infrastructure, connectivity, data centres, containerized applications, and end-user computing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set the strategic direction for Cloud & IT teams, including database services, connectivity, corporate IT, and application platforms.
  • Manage financial and legal aspects of the role, including budget oversight and third-party contracts.
  • Lead, empower, and motivate your direct and indirect reports to achieve Tyro's strategic technology goals.
  • Drive cloud adoption through simplification, unification, and modernization of systems and processes.
  • Ensure the reliability and durability of Tyro's technology platform by maintaining compute, storage, and network infrastructure in line with SLAs, RTOs, and RPOs.
  • Oversee the security and reliability of Tyro's technology platform through timely updates and patching.
  • Work closely with Heads of Technology peers to align Platform and Infrastructure with their teams' needs.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing technology delivery teams.
  • Experience with cloud-native environments, particularly AWS.
  • Expertise in balancing architectural, operational, delivery, regulatory, and budgetary requirements.
  • Proficiency in cloud-native technology platforms and Continuous Delivery practices and tooling (e.g., Build Kite, Git Hub).
  • Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration.
