Acoustic Consultant Job Description

Join a team of experts in the field of acoustics and contribute to high-profile projects across Asia Pacific.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled consultant to carry out complex tasks requiring accuracy in calculations, data analysis, modeling, and design.

A typical day-to-day task would involve working on a wide range of projects in environmental noise monitoring, building acoustics, 3D computer noise modeling, numerical analysis of results, and associated reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out technical tasks that require accuracy in calculations, data analysis, modeling, and design.
  2. Work on projects involving environmental noise monitoring, building acoustics, 3D computer noise modeling, numerical analysis of results, and associated reporting.
  3. Mentor or guide junior-level staff as needed.
  4. Deliver projects and develop business development skills to contribute to the breadth and range of projects the team works on.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant bachelor's degree (ideally mechanical or electrical engineering, environmental engineering, or science).
  • 4-8+ years' experience within a consulting environment.
  • Capability and experience with coding, GIS, noise monitoring, and prediction would be favorable.
  • Experience and high competency with noise monitoring equipment and/or 3D computer noise models (SoundPLAN, CadnaA etc.) is essential.
