Key Mining Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mining Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of short, medium and long term mine plans, drill and blast engineering, pit geology and survey.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support production of life-of-mine (LOM) plans in line with company requirements, including schedules, financials and forward work plans;
  • Contribute to reserves and schedules for budget and 5-year plan processes;
  • Evaluate mine planning options to improve operational efficiency;
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related field;
  • Mining experience in large-scale operations, preferably in coal mining;
  • Proficiency in CAD design software packages such as Deswik, Minex or Vulcan;
  • Strong communication and time management skills, along with problem-solving ability;
  • Leadership, mentoring and coaching skills;
  • Advanced MS Office Skills;
