The Opportunity:
Due to growth within the business, our Mount Thorley branch has a permanent full-time position on offer for an experienced Service Technicians who specialises in component overhauls. Working as a components specialist Service Technician, your role will see you carrying out disassembly, inspection and assembly of Komatsu's world-class large scale mining equipment components in accordance with OEM specifications.

Roster: 5 days x 7.6 hr days with all overtime paid at double time. There is also opportunity to work on shutdowns and builds in the workshop with roster variations such as Lifestyle 5/4/4/5 mix of day and night shift.

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Qualified Mechanical Fitter (HD Mechanic/Fitter)
- Cert 3 Mobile Plant highly desired
- Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience, preferably with Komatsu equipment, and workshop service exposure, including breakdowns and diagnostics, will also be highly regarded within the construction and mining sector.
- A minimum of C class Licence
- Auto Electrical experience, qualifications, and diagnostic skills will be highly regarded.
- Working at heights qualification would be great but not crucial.
- Ability to follow required job scope & critical path.
- Safety focused mindset is paramount.
- Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work unsupervised.
