Job Summary

The APAC Strategic Events Director will have overall responsibility for developing and implementing a geo event marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong background in building and executing high-calibre, pipeline-generating programs that deliver high business impact.

The right candidate ideally has strong written, communication, project management, and influencing skills. They should have experience managing teams and be comfortable with all forms of digital, event, account-based, or content marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create an integrated event marketing strategy with full responsibility for achieving delegate registration, attendance, and pipeline targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to orchestrate customer marketing programs with scaled execution.
  • Power consistent and seamless customer experiences across these programs to increase business outcomes.
  • Drive innovative ideas and provide guidance on best practices to elevate, scale, and activate programs.
  • Effectively integrate multiple channels for all marketing campaigns.
  • Deliver data-driven, multi-channel marketing campaigns that focus on increasing audience acquisition.
  • Manage event projects, budgets, and timelines effectively.
  • Ensure business goals are met, and effective communications and reporting with all stakeholder groups involved.

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of experience in a regional marketing capacity, preferably with a demand generation background.
  • People management experience, including leading small teams and working with diverse skillsets.
  • Expertise in all forms of digital, event, account-based, or content marketing.
  • Strategic and agile thinker with strong collaboration skills.
  • Ability to impact and influence effectively across a global organization and matrixed teams.
