
Healthcare Return Specialist

Our organization seeks a skilled Employee Rehabilitation Specialist to oversee the return-to-work process for employees. This involves collaborating with stakeholders, managing injury reporting and investigation processes, and implementing healthcare providers and developing return-to-work plans.
Responsibilities include coordinating the return-to-work process, managing injury reports, documenting incidents, and implementing modifications to support returning employees. Additionally, this role requires staying up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to workplace safety and injury management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and be able to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of common goals. Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Workers are highly valued.
- Expertise in employee rehabilitation and return-to-work strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant field.
- Current driver's license and car.
- Passion for supporting employees' transition back to work.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position requiring a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail. The ability to maintain accurate records and monitor program effectiveness is essential. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective communication are critical to success.
