Job Title: NDIS Planning Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled specialist to manage complex NDIS participant plans, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and ensure funding is used effectively to deliver the best participant outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to manage participant plans, ensuring accurate allocation of funds.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including plan managers and external providers.
  • Provide regular reports on participant funding and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Partner with case managers to support participants and prepare high-quality reports for external stakeholders.
  • Manage challenging conversations with families, guardians, plan managers, and providers in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Conduct regular site visits to participants as part of this hands-on role.
Requirements:
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of NDIS participant plans and funding structures.
  • Leadership capability with influence both internally and externally.
  • Finance literacy with a focus on plan analysis and funding allocation.
  • Proven ability to manage complex caseloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence in dealing with difficult or high-pressure situations.
