About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To deliver recovery-focused therapy programs on an 8-bedded inpatient ward
  • Engage with community-based initiatives to support consumers
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Recognised health science or applied science bachelor's degree in leisure, recreation or diversional therapy recognised by the relevant professional association
  • Demonstrated core competency skills and experience in using a variety of therapy techniques and media with older people
  • High level written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement
  • Computer skills and the capacity to use health information systems
