Key Roles in Mine Water Management
We are seeking motivated individuals to lead small teams in delivering high-quality hydrogeological projects across our operations.
About the JobThe primary role of these positions is to oversee water well drilling programmes, ensuring accurate data collection, robust analysis, and clear communication to stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of field Hydrogeologists.
- Plan, implement and supervise hydrogeological drilling projects.
- Oversee data collection, QA/QC processes, and database management.
- Provide technical input into scheduling, budgeting and contractor management.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including Field Recon reports, LUC applications, POW reviews and scopes of work.
- Supervise field activities including earthworks, drilling and pump testing.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and promote a culture of zero harm.
- Investigate and resolve incidents relating to hydro drilling operations.
- Degree in Engineering Geology, Hydrogeology, or Geosciences (MSc in Hydrogeology preferred).
- Proven applied experience in hydrogeology, ideally in mine water management and water bore drilling within open-pit mining.
- Strong Knowledge of conceptual hydrogeological modelling, monitoring, and data interpretation.
- Practical experience with internal (LUC) and external (POW) approvals processes.
- Proficiency in hydrogeological software (e.g. AQTESOLV, Aquifer Test Pro) and data management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and time management abilities.
