Job Overview

The NSW Government is upgrading its regional rail fleet with new trains, enhancing safety, amenities, accessibility, and reliability for commuters.

This project involves the Regional Rail Project, where UGL will manage all assets and maintenance activities for the new regional rail fleet. We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Mindyarra Maintenance Facility in Dubbo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the operations team by processing payroll, managing Purchase Orders, and coordinating payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of project-related documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and project-specific regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between departments and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
  • Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation required by the operations team.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve administrative issues.
  • Familiarity with office software and project management tools.
