Contaminated Land Management Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Contaminated Land Management Specialist.

About the Role:

  • This position involves conducting environmental field works, including drilling, hydrogeological testing, site validation, and monitoring.
  • You will collect and analyze environmental samples, such as soil, groundwater, and ambient air.
  • Develop conceptual site models and prepare detailed field notes.
  • Author technical assessment reports and recommendations.
  • Oversee contractors and ensure safe, compliant, and quality field works programs.
  • Apply legislation, standards, and project specifications.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of experience in contaminated land management.
  • Previous consulting experience is required, including business development and proposal writing.
  • Knowledge of soil contaminants, site sampling techniques, investigation methodologies, and remediation technologies.
  • A current full Australian Driver's License is essential.
  • Tertiary education in earth sciences or environmental science/engineering is preferred.
