Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy robust network architecture across core, provider edge, and access layers.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all network configurations.
- Manage network change processes and migrations with minimal disruption.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in real-time.
- Monitor and improve network performance, ensuring high availability and efficiency.
- Implement automation tools and techniques to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network architecture with business objectives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or Architect.
- Prior experience in carriers or ISPs is highly beneficial.
Technical Proficiency (including but not limited to):
- Advanced understanding of BGP, OSPF, and multi-homed routing.
- Expertise in Cisco & Juniper routing & switching.
- Proficiency in Unix.
- Familiarity with server and cloud infrastructure.
